Police appeal for information on fatal accident in Tin Shui Wai

    Police today (April 1) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai, in which a 97-year-old woman who was seriously injured later died in hospital.

    About 7am today, a minibus driven by a 60-year-old man was travelling along Deep Bay Road towards Lau Fau Shan roundabout. When reaching Sheung Pak Nai, the minibus hit the 97-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

    The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Tuen Mun Hospital. She was certified dead at 11am today.

    The Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, is investigating.
