Fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po

	Police are investigating a traffic accident in Sham Shui Po this afternoon (April 3) in which a 57-year-old man was killed.

	About 1pm, a light good vehicle driven by a 25-year-old man was travelling along Yee Kuk Street southbound. When turning right into Pei Ho Street westbound, the vehicle hit a 57-year-old male pedestrian who was crossing the road.

	The man was seriously injured and taken to Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 1.50pm.

    The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
 
    Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
