Duo charged for possession of counterfeit ATM cards

     Police today (April 7) charged two men jointly with one count of possession of false instruments.

The men, aged 25 and 41, were arrested by officers of the Commercial Crime Bureau yesterday (April 6) in Wan Chai. A total of 48 suspected counterfeit automatic teller machine (ATM) cards encoded with overseas bank accounts and cash $215,300 were seized.

     The men will appear in Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow morning   (April 8).
