Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui

	Police today (April 25) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Sheung Shui on April 19 in which a 68-year-old woman was injured and later died in hospital.

	About 7.25am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 24-year-old man was traveling on Fan Kam Road towards Yuen Long. On approaching  Tsiu Keng, the vehicle hit the woman who was crossing the road.

	She sustained head injuries and was taken to North District Hospital where she was certified dead at 2.26pm that day.

	Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic New Territories North, are proceeding.
