Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong

	Police today (April 29) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Kwun Tong on April 26 in which an 80-year-old man was killed.

	About 8.45am on April 26, a public light bus driven by a 47-year-old man was travelling in Hip Wo Street towards Sau Mau Ping when it hit the 80-year-old man who was crossing the road outside 129 Hip Wo Street.

	The man was rushed to the United Christian Hospital with serious head injuries. He was later transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.15pm that day.  

	Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.

	Anyone who may have seen the accident or who has any information is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2305 7500 or 2305 7570.
