Fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan

    Police are investigating a traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan this afternoon (April 30) in which a 55-year-old man was killed and a 23-year-old man injured.

    A bus driven by a 51-year-old man was travelling on Cheung Sha Wan Road towards Mong Kok about 12.40pm.  At the junction with Cheung Lai Street, the bus hit the two men who were crossing the road.

The men were sent to the Caritas Medical Centre where the 55-year-old man was certified dead at 1.09pm.    

	The bus driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and has been detained for further enquiries.

	Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon West, are under way.
