Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

    Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tuen Mun this afternoon (April 30) in which a 49-year-old man was killed.

    At 4.18pm, a medium goods vehicle driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along Lam Tei Section of Castle Peak Road towards Kowloon. When reaching near Siu Hong Court, the vehicle hit the 49-year-old man who was driving a motorcycle on the other lane heading the same direction. 

    Sustaining serious injuries, the man was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was later certified dead at 4.39pm. 

    Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic New Territories North are underway.
