Reward for information about murder in Sham Shui Po *************************************************** Police are offering a reward of $300,000 for information that helps them solve a murder in Sham Shui Po in March this year. About 9.45am on March 7, Police received a report that an 87-year-old woman was found collapsed inside her premises at Mei Choi House, Shek Kip Mei Estate in Sham Shui Po. When Police arrived at the scene, they found the woman lying unconscious on the floor near the kitchen with her both hands tied up by a rope, mouth sealed by plastic tapes and face covered by a red blanket. She was subsequently confirmed dead by ambulancemen at the scene. Investigations revealed that a Chinese female had visited the deceased on March 4. Aged about 35 to 50, the woman is about 1.57 metres tall, of fat build and with short curly hair. She was seen wearing a yellow colour long sleeved jacket, dark trousers and carrying a dark colour bag. Police urge anyone who has information on the case or the identity and whereabouts of the Chinese female to contact any police station or the investigating officers of Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West on 2760 5522 or 9108 6395. They can also give the information by letter to General Post Office Box No.999, by fax at 2520 2828 or by e-mail at crimeinformation@police.gov.hk. The reward will be paid either in full or pro-rata to any person or shared among people giving information leading to the arrest and satisfactory prosecution of the culprits.
