Murder and suicide in Sheung Shui

     Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in which a 31-year-old woman and a 14-month-old baby girl died in Sheung Shui today (May 9).

     About 5.20pm, police received a report that a woman and a baby were found fallen from height and lying on the floor outside Tower 2 of Royal Green.

     The woman and the baby were certified dead at scene by the ambulanceman.

     Initial investigations revealed that the woman plunged herself to death from her residence with her daughter.  

     A post-mortem will be conducted on Tuesday (May 13) to ascertain the cause of their deaths.

     Investigations by District Crime Squad, Tai Po are under way.
