Woman dies in traffic accident in Airport District

     Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 30-year-old woman was killed on Expo Road West in Airport District this afternoon (May 14).

     At around 4pm, a coach driven by a 60-year-old man stopped outside AsiaWorld Expo on Expo Road West for dropping off passengers. After all passengers alighted the coach, it started moving and was reportedly knocked down the 30-year-old woman.

     The woman, who was one of the passengers, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital. She was later certified dead at 4.45pm.

     The Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South has taken over the case for investigation.
