Fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan

     Police are investigating a traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan on May 2 in which a 21-year-old man was injured and later certified dead in hospital.

     About 1pm on May 2, a car being driven by the 21-year-old man was traveling east on Tai Po Road. Near Caldecott Road, it crashed into a light goods vehicle (LGV) traveling in the opposite direction. 

     The car driver was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital with serious head injuries and was certified dead at 7.04pm the same day. 

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
