Police appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O

    Police today (May 16) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O on May 14 in which a 86-year-old man was seriously injured.

    About 6.50pm on May 14, a 56-year-old man was driving a private car travelling on Po Lam Road towards Sau Mau Ping. On reaching the junction of Tsui Lam Road, the car reportedly knocked down the 86-year-old man who was crossing the road.

    The man was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital with head injuries, and is now admitted in serious condition.

    Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
