Seven arrested in Tai Po murder case ****************************** Police have arrested seven people in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old woman in Tai Po last Thursday (May 15). Police received a report from the victim's family last Friday (May 16) that she had failed to return home after work on May 15. After an extensive investigation, the Regional Crime Unit of New Territory North (RCU NTN) last night (May 22) arrested six men and one woman, aged between 16 and 26, in Tai Po and Kwun Tong in connection with the case. Initial enquiries showed that the victim was believed to have been robbed and subsequently killed in Tai Po last Thursday. RCU NTN officers this morning (May 23) found the woman's body in a nullah on Tai Po Tai Wo Road. A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow (May 24) to ascertain the cause of death.
