Man charged with murder

     Police tonight (May 24) charged a 24-year-old man with one count of murder.

     The man was arrested on May 22 in connection with the death of a 21-year-old woman, who was believed to have been robbed and subsequently killed in Tai Po on May 15. 

     A post-mortem was conducted on the deceased today but the cause of her death is yet to be ascertained pending further examinations.

     The man will appear in Fanling Magistrates' Courts on Monday (May 26).
