Marine Police seize computer goods worth about $200,000 *************************************************** Marine Police have seized a large quantity of computer monitors worth about $200,000 in an anti-smuggling operation in Sai Kung last night (June 4). About 9pm yesterday, officers of the Marine Small Boat Division intercepted a suspicious cargo vessel near East Ninepin Island. During the interception, officers spotted a speedboat with a man on board picking up three other men from the cargo vessel. After a hot pursuit, Marine Police intercepted the speedboat nearby. Four Mainland men were found on board. About 4, 000 sets of second-hand computer monitors worth about $200,000 were seized on the cargo vessel but no people were found on board. The four men on the speedboat, aged between 27 and 37, were later arrested for illegal immigration and attempting to export unmanifested cargo.
