Motorcyclist dies in Tai Po traffic accident

    Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tai Po this afternoon (June 22) in which a 22-year-old man was killed.

    About 5pm, a motorcycle driven by a 22-year-old man was travelling along Bride's Pool Road. When approaching about 500 metres away from the junction of Wu Kau Tang Road, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and rammed into the hillside. 

    The man sustained serious injuries and was sent to Alice Ho Nethersole Hospital. He was later certified dead at 6.05pm. 

    Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic New Territories North.
