Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom ********************************************************* Police today (June 24) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Hung Hom on June 18 in which a 59-year-old man was killed. About 11am on June 18, a light goods vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man was travelling north along Ko Shan Street. On reaching the junction with Shansi Street, the vehicle hit the 59-year-old man who was crossing the road. The man was rushed to the Queen's Elizabeth Hospital with serious head injuries. He was certified dead at 2.37am the next day (June 19). The light goods vehicle driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and have been released on Police bail pending further investigations. Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are proceeding.
