Fatal Traffic Accident in Tsuen Wan

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning in which a man died.

A private car being driven by a 39-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road towards New Territories about 4.18am. When the car reached Tsing Lung Tau Bridge, it reportedly lost control and hit a road sign and a lamppost after dashing on a crash barrier on left hand side. The driver was trapped inside the compartment, he was rescued by firemen and was certified dead by the ambulancemen at the scene.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are under way. Anyone who might have seen the accident or who may have any information is urged to contact the investigation officers on 3661 1300.
