Police appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan

Police appealed for information about a traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan today (August 10) in which a 71-year-old man was seriously injured.

About 6.30am, the man was found lying unconsciously on Lai Po Road under a Route 3 flyover.

Initial investigations revealed that he was believed to be hit by an unknown vehicle which then fled away. The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.

Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.

Anyone who may have seen the accident or has any information is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2773 5200.
