Man charged with dangerous driving causing death

Police today (August 11) charged a 43-year-old with one count of dangerous driving causing death.

The man was arrested yesterday (August 10) after his private car travelling along Ching Cheung Road towards Wong Tai Sin lost control, went across the opposite lane and crashed into a taxi travelling on the opposite direction. The 51-year-old male taxi driver and the 35-year-old male taxi passenger were certified dead at the scene.

He will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (August 12).
