Fatal traffic accident in Ma On Shan

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Ma On Shan this afternoon (September 13) in which a 40-year-old man was killed.

About 12.15pm, a light goods vehicle driven by the 40-year-old man was found rammed into the railing at Chak Cheung Street roundabout.

The driver was found unconscious inside the vehicle and was rescued by the firemen.¡@He was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.54pm.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic,¡@New Territories South are under way.
