Police investigate death of woman in Sha Tin

Police are investigating the death of a woman in Sha Tin last night (September 13).

About 10.30pm, Police received a report that a 40-year-old woman was found collapsed at a flat in Sun Ming House, Sun Chui Estate.

When Police arrived, they found the woman lying unconscious on the floor of the living room.

The woman was subsequently certified dead at the scene. An initial examination revealed possible cut wounds on her body and the death is being treated as suspicious.

A post-mortem will be conducted on Tuesday (September 16) to ascertain the cause of death of the woman.

Investigations by District Crime Squad of Sha Tin are under way.
