Six men charged with murder

Police today (September 16) charged six men aged between 32 and 47 jointly with one count of murder.

Seven men were arrested on September 14 and 15, suspected to be connected with the murder case in which a 36-year-old man and four other men aged from 34 to 36 were attacked by a group of people after a dispute in Tai Long Wan Tsuen, Chai Wan at night on September 13.

Sustaining injury to his neck, the man was rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.07am on September 14.

The six men will appear on Eastern Magistrates' Court today.

The 49-year-old man arrested yesterday (September 15) will be detained overnight for investigation.

Investigations by officers of Regional Crime Unit of Hong Kong Island are continuing.
