Man arrested for murder

Police today (September 30) arrested a 39-year-old man suspected to be in connection with the murder of a 36-year-old man in Fanling yesterday.

About 10.30pm yesterday, a woman made a report to the Police that a man were found lying unconscious inside a flat on Fanling Station Road. The 36-year-old man sustained multiple cut wounds and was certified dead at scene.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for murder at midnight after police investigation. A post-mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of the death of the 36-year-old man.

Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tai Po are underway.
