Special traffic arrangements in Wan Chai

Police will implement special traffic arrangements in the vicinity of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai to facilitate a function to be held on Sunday (October 12).

(A) Road Closure

(i) North of Expo Drive East, including the bus terminus and taxi stand area next to the Golden Bauhinia Square will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 7am to 2pm;

The following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 8am to 1pm:
(ii) A section of southbound Expo Drive East between Expo Drive and Expo Drive Central will be closed; and
(iii) Eastbound Expo Drive between Expo Drive and Expo Drive East will be closed.

(B) Traffic Diversion
(i) Vehicular traffic along northbound Expo Drive East must left-turn to westbound Expo Drive from 7am to 2pm; and
(ii) Vehicular traffic along northbound Expo Drive heading for Expo Drive East must U-turn to southbound Expo Drive from 8am to 1pm.

(C) Suspension of bus terminus, taxi stands and parking spaces

The bus terminus, taxi stands and all metered parking spaces at Expo Drive East next to the Bauhinia Square will be temporarily suspended between 6am to 2pm.
