Appeal for information on abandoned baby (with photo)

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a baby who was found abandoned at Castle Peak today (October 21).

At about 8am today, a man found a baby on the slope opposite to no.23 Castle Peak Road. A report was then made to the Police.

The newborn baby boy, with umbilical cord, is about 3-5 days-old. Standing about 0.5 meters tall, he was only wearing a disposable diaper when found. He was believed to be a South-east Asian. No other properties were found in his possession.

Police urged the relatives of the child or anyone who has information to offer to contact the investigating officers at 2456 5355 or the Castle Peak Police Station at 24043513.
