Murder in Yuen Long

Police arrested four men in connection with a murder and fighting case that occurred in Yuen Long yesterday (January 1) morning in which a 28-year-old man was injured and later died in hospital.

At about 2.30 am on January 1, a gang fight occurred outside a karaoke in Kau Yuk Road, Yuen Long.

A 28-year-old man was injured in the fight and was conveyed to the North District Hospital by his friends where the man was certified dead at 3.50 am.

Police was informed of the case and Regional Crime Unit, New Territories North (RCU/NTN) took over the case for investigation.

RCU/NTN officers arrested four men, aged between 21 and 29, in connection with the case in Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai yesterday (January 1) afternoon.

All the arrested persons are now being detained for further investigation. A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death of the deceased.
