Suspected murder case in Sau Mau Ping

Police are investigating a suspected murder case in which a 47-year-old woman was found dead in Sau Mau Ping yesterday evening (January 10).

About 7.09pm yesterday, a woman made a report to the Police that she found her friend lying unconscious inside a flat on Yee On Street.

Police sped to the scene and located the 47-year-old woman lying unconscious on a bed inside the flat. She was subsequently certified dead at the scene.

Initial investigations revealed that the woman had sustained no superficial injury. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon East are underway.
