Suspected murder case in Hung Hom

Police are investigating a suspected murder case in which a 38-year-old woman was found dead in Hung Hom tonight (January 31).

About 8.48pm, a woman made a report to the Police that she found her friend lying unconscious inside a flat on To Kwa Wan Road.

Police sped to the scene and located the 38-year-old woman lying unconscious on a bed inside the flat.

The woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and later certified dead at 9.11pm.

Initial investigations revealed that the woman had sustained no serious superficial injury. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are underway.
