Fatal traffic accident in Ta Kwu Ling

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Ta Kwu Ling yesterday night (February 5) in which a 20-year-old man was killed.

About 11.50pm, a private car driven by the 20-year-old man was travelling on northbound Ping Che Road. When reaching near Ng Chow South Road, it was suspected that the private car lost control and rammed into the pavement on the left.

Sustaining serious injuries, the driver was rushed to North District Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.24am this morning (February 6).

Investigations will be taken over by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
