Police appeal for witnesses to Sai Kung traffic accident

Police are appealing for witnesses to a traffic accident in Sai Kung on February 6 in which an 80-year-old woman was injured.

About 10am on February 6, a motorcycle driven by a 47-year-old man was travelling along Hiram's Highway towards Kowloon, when approaching near a fire station, it reportedly knocked down the 80-year-old woman while avoiding collision with an unknown vehicle.

The woman sustained head and right leg injuries, and she was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state. She is now in serious condition.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are continuing.
