Police appeal for information on fatal traffic
accident in Kwun Tong

Police today (February 18) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Kwun Tong on February 13 in which a 76-year-old woman was injured and later died in hospital.

About 1.13pm, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 33-year-old man was travelling along westbound Cha Kwo Ling Road. On reaching Shing Yip Street, the MGV reportedly hit the 76-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

The woman sustained head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. She was certified dead at 7.12pm on the same day.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
