Man killed in Tuen Mun traffic accident

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@Police appealed for information about a fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun this morning (Saturday) that killed a 22-year-old man.

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@Police received a report at about 1.40 am that a man was found wandering along Tuen Mun Road toward the new territories.

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@Police later located the man lying unconscious on the inner lane of Tuen Mun Road near Siu Lam. Ambulance man certified him dead at scene.

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@Police also received a report from a taxi driver that he suspected he had run over a man when was driving along Tuen Mun Road.

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@The taxi returned to the scene and the driver was now assisting police investigation.

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@Police appeal to the public who might have witnessed the accident is urged to contact the investigation officers on 3661 1330 or 3661 1346.

¡@¡@¡@¡@¡@The Special Investigation Team for Traffic, New Territories South is looking into the case.
