Appeal for information for burglary (with photos)

Police today (March 9) appealed for information about a burglary case in Mong Kok last Thursday (March 5).

Four South-American men were suspected to have sneaked into the safe deposit box area of a bank on Nathan Road, Mong Kok on March 5 and attempted to steal from some of the safe boxes. Later, they left the bank and fled along Nathan Road toward Play Field Road. They were believed to get aboard to a taxi or other transportation near Play Field Road.

The following are the physical characteristics and belongings of those four South-American suspects:

- Suspect 1: South-American man, aged about 35, of medium-built, standing about 1.8 metres, dark complex, wearing black suit, speaks non-fluent English and with a large black bag;
- Suspect 2: South-American man, aged about 40, of medium-built, standing about 1.7 metres, dark complex, wearing grey suit, speaks non-fluent English and with a large black bag;
- Suspect 3: South-American man, aged about 50, of fat-built, standing about 1.7 metres, wearing a brown cap and metal glasses and speaks non-fluent English; and
- Suspect 4: South-American man, aged about 35, of medium-built, standing about 1.7 metres, wearing a dark clothes and jean and speaks non-fluent English.
