A total of 294 persons were injured and two persons died in 247 traffic accidents which occurred throughout Hong Kong last week (March 8 to 14, 2009).

Fifty-five of these accidents occurred on Hong Kong Island, 96 in Kowloon and 96 in the New Territories.
