Fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Kwun Tong this morning (March 30) in which a 50-year-old man was killed.

About 5.35am, a private car driven by the 50-year-old man was travelling on westbound Cha Kwo Ling Road. On reaching outside Cha Kwo Ling Public Cargo Working Area, it rammed into a medium goods vehicle which was parked on the road.

The man was rescued and taken to the United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.16am.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon East, are underway.
