Fatal Traffic Accident in Yuen Long

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Yuen Long this morning (March 31) in which a 21-year-old man was killed.

About 5am, a motorcycle driven by the 21-year-old man was traveling on Wang Lok Street towards Yuen Long, when approaching 68 Wang Lok Street, the motorcycle reportedly rammed into a lamppost on the left when turning right.

Sustaining head and neck injuries, the driver was taken to Pok Oi Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.54am.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are proceeding.
