Appeal for information on body found in Western District

Police today (March 31) appealed for information about a man whose body was found in Western District on November 24 last year.

About 3.30pm on that day, police received a report that a man's body was floating off the Western Park Sports Centre, Western District. The man was about 47 years old, about 1.7 metres tall and of medium build. He had black short hair and was wearing a blue denim jacket, red long sleeved T-shirt, light grey pants and black sports shoes.

Police believe that the deceased was named Chan Yu-lung. No suspicious circumstances were established surrounding the death.

Anyone who has information on the man's identity or his next of kin is urged to contact officers of Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Marine Harbour Division at 2886 8761.
