Woman charged with murder

Police today (May 6) holding charged a 49-year-old woman with one count of murder.

She was arrested in Hung Hom yesterday afternoon (May 5) in connection with a case in which a 78-year-old woman was killed in Lok Man Sun Chuen. The woman sustained serious head injuries and three iron hammers were found nearby.

The 49-year-old woman will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow morning (May 7).

Active investigations by District Crime Squad, Kowloon City are continuing.
