Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui

Police today (May 12) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui on May 3 in which a 58-year-old woman was injured and later died in hospital.

About 7.30am, a car travelling along Science Museum Square knocked down the 58-year-old woman. The car drove away after the accident.

Sustaining head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She was subsequently certified dead at 6.15pm on May 7.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are underway.
