Murder in Tuen Mun

Police are investigating a murder case in which a 46-year-old woman was killed in Tuen Mun yesterday (June 24).

About 7.36pm yesterday, a 47-year-old man reported to Police that his wife was found lying unconscious at their residence in King Wah House, Shan King Estate.

Police officers arrived at the scene and located the injured woman lying on the ground at the entrance of the kitchen.

The woman was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 8.12 pm.

Initial examination found multiple chop wounds to her neck and hands. A post-mortem will be conducted today (June 25) to ascertain the cause of death of the woman.

Investigations by District Crime Unit of Tuen Mun are continuing.
