Man charged with murder

Police today (June 26) charged a 25-year-old man with one count of murder.

The man was arrested in Kwai Chung yesterday (June 25) morning in suspected connection with the death of his 46-year-old mother who was found injured at her King Wah House home in Shan King Estate, Tuen Mun on June 24 and was later certified dead in Tuen Mun Hospital.

A post-mortem examination showed that the women died of multiple chop wounds to her body.

The man will appear in Tuen Mun Magistrates' Court tomorrow (June 27).
