*************************************************

Police arrested two men, aged 29 and 34, in Yuen Long last night (July 22) and recovered a light goods vehicle (LGV), two private cars and a motorcycle, with an estimated total value of $220, 000.

After extensive investigations, officers of the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) raided a garage at Ng Uk Tsuen, Tai Tseng Wai, Yuen Long, about 7.30pm yesterday.

Officers found the LGV, which was reported missing from Wong Tai Sin in the early hours of yesterday, as well as two private cars and a motorcycle. It is believed the garage was used to modify stolen vehicles and resell them on the local market.

The two men were arrested for allegedly handling stolen goods. They have been detained for further enquiries by the OCTB.
