Men charged with murder

Police today (July 25) charged two men, aged 40 and 48, jointly with one count of murder.

The 48-year-old man was arrested in Yau Ma Tei on July 23 while the 40-year-old man in Hung Hom yesterday (July 24). They were in suspected connection with the death of a 39-year-old man who was found injured at a wholesale fruit market on Waterloo Road, Yau Ma Tei on July 22 and was later certified dead in Kwong Wah Hospital.

A post-mortem examination showed that the man died of chop wound to his chest.

The men will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts on July 27.
