A man arrested for murder

Police arrested a 27-year-old man who suspected to be in connection with the death of his 65-year-old father in Tuen Mun today (August 15).

The case occurred at about 8pm yesterday (August 14). The 27-year-old man had pushed the deceased after a dispute at their residence in King Wah House, Shan King Estate, last night. Sustaining head injuries after suspectedly banning his head on hard objects, the deceased was found collapsed with no response this morning. The man made a report at around 8.15am today. The deceased was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.59 am.

A post-mortem will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.

After investigation, officers of District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun District arrested the man. He is being detained overnight for further enquiries.
