Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tuen Mun last Wednesday (August 19) in which a 63-year-old man was killed.

At around 11am on that day, a 58-year-old LGV driver was turning right to Tsing Lun Road from Siu Hong Court carpark. When reaching near the junction with Tsz Tin Road, the LGV reportedly knocked down the 63-year-old man who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 0.06am on the following day (August 20).

Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic New Territories North.
