| 2017 | Detective Boulevard (DB) “Detective Boulevard” is a detective training system, which was jointly developed by the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM). It delivers vivid stereoscopic 3D views of crime scenes in the Virtual Reality (VR) to a team of trainees enabling them to interactively perform investigation at the crime scenes by simply wearing a VR headset and using a VR handheld joystick with interactive function. “Detective Boulevard” is an innovative and novel training model bringing advanced technology to the detective training arena that pioneers in the local law enforcement agency context. |
