The RPC Training Division is mainly responsible for the foundation training of RPC, and providing in-service continuation training for police constables during their initial two years of police service. The Division is also responsible for delivering footdrill training for recruits and conducting ceremonial parade, both internally and externally.

The training provided by the Division includes:

  • Recruit Police Constable Foundation Training
  • Police Constable Continuation Training
  • Mentor Police Constable Training
  • Youth Training

Upon successful completion of 27-week RPC foundation training programmes, Police College may award RPC trainees with vocational qualifications that are recognised under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (QF), namely RPC’s “Professional Diploma in Policing”.

RPC Professional Diploma Programme was quality assured by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) through a rigorous accreditation process and recognized under the QF as meeting the accreditation standard at QF Level 4 (at the same level of an Associate Degree or a Higher Diploma).
