Introduction
The School of Professional Development plays an integral part in developing professional police officers and leaders, so that the Force can continue to rise above the challenges of the 21st century.
The School is responsible for the organisation and provision of the following training programmes:
- overseas, Mainland and local training programmes to Force members on police leadership and management;
- in-service training courses for Junior Police Officers and Inspectorate to Superintendents upon reaching a certain years of service or promotion; and
- Management Development Programmes and vocational courses for Force members.
