Police Driving and Traffic Training Centre located in Fanling
The Police Driving and Traffic Training Centre is located in Fanling, New Territories, responsible for the provision of driving and traffic training and driving licensing within the Force, including instruction for specialised vehicles, as well as for specific operational support to the Force. The professional driving training provided by the Centre ensures full compliance with statutory requirements whilst emphasising the safety ethic, as well as defensive driving tactics, to enable police drivers to meet operational exigencies. In addition, the Centre provides specific traffic related training courses for police officers, predominantly basic traffic induction, accident investigation and drink driving enforcement courses. It also provides basic and in-service training for traffic wardens. |
